Damansara Utama (state Constituency)
Damansara Utama was a state constituency in Selangor, Malaysia, that had been represented in the Selangor State Legislative Assembly since 1986 until 2018. The state constituency was created in the 1984 redistribution and was mandated to return a single member to the Selangor State Legislative Assembly under the first past the post voting system. In the 2018 redelination exercise, this constituency was redistributed to Bandar Utama Bandar Utama Damansara is a residential township located within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. Lee Hwa Beng
Dato' Lee Hwa Beng () is a Malaysian politician and the former Selangor State Assemblyman for Subang Jaya for three terms from 1995 to 2008. He is an accountant by training and served as Port Klang Authority chairman from 2008 to 2011. Lee is a member of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a major component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He first contested in 1990 general election, running for the Damansara Utama state seat. He lost but went on to win the Subang Jaya state seat for three terms in 1995, 1999 and 2004 general elections. The People's Alliance ( ms, Pakatan Rakyat; abbrev: PR) was an informal Malaysian political coalition and successor to Barisan Alternatif (BA).
