Jimmy Eat World is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Mesa, Arizona. The band is composed of lead vocalist and lead guitarist Jim Adkins, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Linton, bassist Rick Burch, and drummer Zach Lind. They have released ten studio albums, the last nine featuring the current lineup. The four-piece's commercial breakthrough came with the release of several singles from their album ''Bleed American'' (2001), four of which charted within the top 20 positions of the Alternative Songs chart, with " The Middle" reaching No. 1. "Stop Whispering" is a US only single by the English alternative rock band Radiohead, released in October 1993. It is an alternative recording to the track on their debut album, ''Pablo Honey'' (1993). It reached #23 on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart in October 1993. The track was later released as the follow-up to " Creep" in Australia on 7 February 1994. It peaked at #131 on the Australian ARIA singles chart. Recording Radiohead recorded various demos of "Stop Whispering" while they were an unsigned band in Abingdgon, Oxfordshire.
