Daily Hai Queen Cup
The Daily Hai Queen Cup (Japanese language, Japanese クイーンカップ) is a Graded stakes race, Grade 3 Horse racing, horse race for three-year-old Thoroughbred fillies run in February over a distance of 1600 metres at Tokyo Racecourse. The race was first run in 1966 and was elevated to Grade 3 status in 1984. It was contested at variety of venues but has been run over its current course and distance since 1981. The race serves as a trial race for the Oka Sho. Tokyo Racecourse
is located in Fuchu, Tokyo, Japan. Built in 1933 for horse racing, it is considered the "racecourse of racecourses" in Japanese horseracing. It has a capacity of 223,000, with seating for 13,750. Tokyo Racecourse hosts numerous G1 (Grade 1) races, including the Japan Cup, Tokyo Yushun (the Japanese Derby) and the Yasuda Kinen, a part of the Asian Mile Challenge. Physical attributes Tokyo Race Course's grass course measures 2083m (1¼ miles + 234 feet) with two chutes (1800m and 2000m). Races can be run on the "A Course" rail setting (on the hedge), the "B Course" setting (rail out 3 meters), the "C Course" setting (rail out 6 meters), the "D Course" setting (rail out 9 meters) or the "E Course" setting (rail out 12 meters). Akaitorino Musume, ( ja, アカイトリノムスメ, link=no, foaled 16 April 2018) is a Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse. A daughter of two Japanese Triple Crown winners she showed promise as a two-year-old in 2020 when she won two of her three starts. In the following year she won the Daily Hai Queen Cup and ran well in both the Oka Sho and the Yushun Himba before winning the Shuka Sho. William Buick
William Buick (born 22 July 1988) is a Norwegian-British flat jockey. He shared the champion apprentice jockey title in 2008 with David Probert and won the Lester Award for Apprentice Jockey of the Year in 2007 and 2008. Verxina, (born on March 5, 2009) is a retired race horse by Deep Impact (horse), Deep Impact, and out of Halwa Sweet. She is currently owned by a former professional baseball player, Kazuhiro Sasaki.
