Chrono Genesis
Chrono Genesis ( ja, クロノジェネシス, link=no, foaled 6 March 2016) is a Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse. She was one of the best two-year-old fillies in Japan when she won her first two races including the Ivy Stakes and then ran a close second in the Hanshin Juvenile Fillies. In the following year she won the Daily Hai Queen Cup and then contested all three legs of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing#Japan, Japanese Fillies' Triple Crown, finishing third in both the Oka Sho and the Yushun Himba before winning the Shuka Sho. As a four-year-old she won the Kyoto Kinen, Takarazuka Kinen and Arima Kinen. Background Chrono Genesis is a grey filly with a white star (horse marking), star bred in Hokkaido by Northern Farm. She was sent into training with Takashi Saito at Rittō, Shiga and carries the red, black and yellow colours of Sunday Racing. She was ridden in most of her races by Yuichi Kitamura. Bago (horse)
Bago (born February 3, 2001, in France) was the European Three-Year-Old Champion Thoroughbred race horse in 2004. Bred by the Niarchos family, Bago is best known for winning the 2004 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe amongst his five Group One successes. Background Bago's dam Moonlight's Box, a daughter of the Champion Sire Nureyev, who also sired Miesque, the dual Breeders' Cup winner. She in turn is out of Group 1 winning Coup de Genie, a full sister to Machiavellian. In 1989, Bago's sire Nashwan won the 2,000 Guineas, The Derby, the Eclipse and the King George VI in one season, a feat no other horse has yet equalled. He was trained by Chantilly-based Englishman Jonathan Pease, also renowned for being the mentor of many top-class horses including Tikkanen, Spinning World, Act One etc., Bago was ridden during his entire career by top French jockey Thierry Gillet.
