Genji Umeno (梅野 源治) is a Japanese Muay Thai and Kickboxing practitioner. He is the current BoM Lightweight champion. He is the former Rajadamnern 135 lbs champion, WPMF World Super Featherweight champion, WBC Muaythai World and International Super Featherweight champion, as well as the former M-1 Featherweight Champion. Career beginnings Genji Umeno grew up watching combat sports as a kid, which led him to become enthralled by the sport. Ryutaro Umeno
is a Nippon Professional Baseball catcher for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan's Central League. Since joining the Tigers, he was given the nickname "Ume-chan", and his accurate throws and strong throwing arm earned his throw the nickname "Ume-chan bazooka" whenever he catches a runner stealing. Early Baseball Career Born in Nakagawa-cho, Fukuoka Prefecture, Ryutaro started playing baseball when he was in 2nd grade, mainly due to the influence of his father who at that time was a coach of the town's little league team. He originally played as an outfielder, but changed his position to catcher when he was in 4th grade. In middle school, his team, the Nakagawa Sharks, regularly participated in the Japan Baseball League. From 2005 to 2006, he led his team to 2 consecutive overall championships as the main catcher and 4th batter. , born June 27, 1993, as is a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Isahaya, Nagasaki. His highest rank is ''jūryō'' 9. Early life Masamitsu Umeno comes from a family originally from the island of Tsushima. His grandmother (Hideko Umeno) was the oldest ''ama'' diver in Tsushima. He first went to the Isahaya Agricultural High School, before graduating from Nihon University where he was a member of their sumo club. During his time as a student, he suffered a meniscus injury to his left knee and to his anterior cruciate ligament at the All Japan University Sumo Uwajima Tournament on April 29, 2015. He aggravated his injury at the Individual Weight Category Championships and was unable to compete in subsequent competitions.
