Da Vinci (band)
Da Vinci is a Portuguese band created by Iei-Or and Pedro Luís Neves, whose members included Ricardo, Joaquim Andrade, Dora and Sandra Fidalgo, among others throughout the years. Since Ricardo had a plane accident, he was replaced by Tó. They represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 with the song "Conquistador Conquistadors (, ) or conquistadores (, ; meaning 'conquerors') were the explorer-soldiers of the Spanish and Portuguese Empires of the 15th and 16th centuries. Pedro Luís Neves is a Portuguese modern composer of classical music and author of several other genres. Pedro Luís Neves works as a composer and musician within many different musical fields, some of which include theatre plays and works with fusion between contemporary classical music and other genres (so called "crossover music"), such as jazz, Rock, electronica, and more. Nucha (born Cristina Isabel dos Santos Baldaia Trindade on 21 June 1966) is a Portuguese singer, best known for her participation in the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest. Biography Nucha's first participation in Portugal's Eurovision selection, ''Festival da Canção'', was in 1988 with the song "Se calhar", but this failed to pass the semi-final stage. She entered ''Festival da Canção'' a second time in 1990, and this time was successful with the song " Há sempre alguém" ("There's Always Someone") winning the juries' vote.
