Da Grande Amigos New Generation Sports Club, generally known as Da Grande Sports Club, is a Maldivian football club, that competes in the Dhivehi Premier League, the highest tier of Maldivian football. 2019–20 Dhivehi Premier League
The 2019–20 Dhivehi Premier League was the fifth season of the Dhivehi Premier League, the top-tier football league in the Maldives. The season started on 14 June 2019. TC Sports are the defending champions. Maziya secured the league title on 19 January 2020. Since New Radiant Sports Club and Victory Sports Club both teams are suspended, they are relegated to the Second Division Football Tournament. Teams A total of nine teams compete in the league. Maldivian Second Division Football Tournament
The Maldivian Second Division Football Tournament is a football league tournament in the Maldives, organized by the Football Association of Maldives. A new structure for the Second Division Football Tournament was introduced for the 2015 season. Structure Changes were brought to the second division league structure 23 December 2014, by the FAM's FIFA normalizing committee. The division now consists of 10 clubs and two rounds are played. All teams play against each other once in the first round and the top five clubs will be qualified for the second round. These 5 clubs play against each other once and the club with most points is declared as champion, and promoted to the Dhivehi Premier League. Runner up will be qualified for the play-off match between the Dhivehi Premier League 9th position team for a spot in the next season's Premier League. Yasfaadh Habeeb (born 9 September 1992), known as ''Mulakey'', is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Da Grande Sports Club. Club career Yasfaadh started his career playing for the Third Division side BG Sports Club in 2011. He played a vital role in their back-to-back promotions – gaining promotion to Second Division in 2011 and first division in 2012, before moving to Club Eagles in 2013. Ahmed Imaz (born 12 April 1992) is a Maldivian footballer nicknamed "''Aakko''", who is currently playing for Da Grande Sports Club. Club career Imaz signed for Club Eagles in 2011 and played three very successful seasons at the club, breaking through to the Maldives U23 and Maldives senior team in the following year.
