Yasfaadh Habeeb
Yasfaadh Habeeb (born 9 September 1992), known as ''Mulakey'', is a Maldivian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Da Grande Sports Club. Club career Yasfaadh started his career playing for the Third Division side BG Sports Club in 2011. He played a vital role in their back-to-back promotions – gaining promotion to Second Division in 2011 and first division in 2012, before moving to Club Eagles in 2013. On 28 February 2013, Yasfaadh made his official debut for Eagles in their season opener, also contributing an assist for Adam Shahir in the 4–2 win against his former club BG Sports. He scored his first goal for the club on 9 May 2013, in the 4–0 win against Club All Youth Linkage in Dhivehi League. On 14 December 2015, Ysafaadh joined Maziya on a 2 year deal. Meemu Atoll
Mulaku Atoll or Meemu Atoll(މުލަކަތޮޅު) is an administrative division of the Maldives. It corresponds to the natural atoll of the same name, also known as Mulak Atoll or 'Mulakatolhu'. There is a mosque of historical value in Kolhufushi Island, but no Buddhist remains have been found on this atoll. Also of historic importance is the 1573 wreck of Kalhuohfummi off the south eastern reef of Kolhuvaariyaafushi island. The 2017 Malé League is the seventh season of the Malé League, the top division of Maldivian football under the latest update of the Maldivian football league system. The league was made up of the 8 clubs. Format All eight teams play against each other in Two Round Format. Team with most total points at the end of the season will be crowned as Malé League champion and qualified to the AFC Cup. Top four teams qualify for the Dhivehi Premier League and the President's Cup. Bottom four teams play the Malé League qualification with the champion and the runner-up of Second Division. Malé League is the official competition for football clubs in the Malé area. The top four teams qualify for Dhivehi League and bottom two teams play off against relegation with top-2 of 2nd division. Since 2001 top teams qualify for Dhivehi League with some teams from other islands. From 2007 a qualifying stage restricted to Malé does not exist anymore. Dhivehi Premier League
Dhivehi Premier League is a Maldivian men's professional football league. At the top of the Maldives football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 10 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Second Division Football Tournament. Teams are playing 14 matches each (playing each team in the league twice) totalling 56 matches in the season. The competition formed as the Dhivehi Premier League succeeded the Dhivehi League. 2014 President's Cup (Maldives)
The 2014 President's Cup is the 64th season of the President's Cup, a knock-out competition for Maldives' top 4 football clubs. New Radiant Sports Club are the defending champions, having beaten Maziya in last season's final in extra time. The final was held on 30 November 2014, in which New Radiant won 1-0 on extra time from a long range shot from Ali Fasir claiming a record eleventh President's Cup and winning the title for the third time in a row. President's Cup (known before 2005 as the National Championship) is said to be the first tournament in the Maldives and also the birth of Football in the Maldives. The very first tournament was held in 1946, with 2006 seeing its 50th edition. The first edition ended with Customs and Naadhee Ahthamadhun both sharing the trophy. The Grand Hamad Stadium ( ar, استاد حمد الكبير), also known as the Al–Arabi Sports Club Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Doha, Qatar.
