Chillicothe ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Ross County, Ohio, United States. Located along the Scioto River 45 miles (72 km) south of Columbus, Chillicothe was the first and third capital of Ohio. The 2018 William Hill US Darts Masters was the second staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the second event in the 2018 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured 16 players (8 PDC representatives and 8 North American representatives) and was held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on 6–7 July 2018. Daryl Gurney (born 22 March 1986) is a Northern Irish professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Gurney is a winner of two majors, having won the World Grand Prix in 2017 in his native Ireland, and the Players Championship Finals in 2018. Career Gurney reached the quarter finals of the 2008 Scottish Open, beating Andy Boulton and Alan Soutar before losing to Shaun Greatbatch. He then reached the final of the 2008 WDF Europe Cup, beating Stig Jorgensen in the quarter finals and then beat Fabian Roosenbrand 4–0 in the semi-finals before losing to defending champion Mark Webster 4–0 in the final. The 2017 partypoker US Darts Masters was the inaugural staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation, as a third entry in the 2017 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured eight North American players who faced eight PDC players, which was held at the Tropicana Las Vegas in Las Vegas, United States from 14–15 July 2017. World Series Of Darts (tour)
The World Series of Darts is a series of darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. Beginning in 2013, the World Series has comprised between two and seven tournaments across the world, where a mixture of the top-ranked PDC players take on local qualifiers in a knockout format. Since 2015, there has been a finals tournament held annually in November at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, although in 2018, it moved to the Multiversum Schwechat in Vienna, Austria, and moved again to the AFAS Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2019, then to the Salzburgarena, Salzburg in 2020.
