D. L. Wilson
Donis "D. L." Wilson (born January 1, 1965) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 39 Chevrolet SS for CW Motorsports. Racing career ARCA Menards Series Wilson would get his start in the series in 2017 with Fast Track Racing for a test session, after a deal with another team failed to materialize. Wilson would get his debut in 2018 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, retiring and finishing 25th due to ignition problems. Since then, he has made at least one start in every season since then, with him greatly expanding his schedule in 2021, racing 14 of the 20 races that year. Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway
Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is a motorsport racetrack located at the Nashville Fairgrounds near downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The track is the second-oldest continually operating track in the United States. The track held NASCAR Grand National/Winston Cup (now NASCAR Cup Series) races from 1958 to 1984. Track configuration The speedway is currently an 18 degree banked paved oval. The track is long. Inside the larger oval is a paved oval. The track was converted to a paved oval in 1957, when it began to be a NASCAR series track. The speedway was lengthened between the 1969 and 1970 seasons. The corners were cut down from 35 degrees to their present 18 degrees in 1972. The track was repaved between the 1995 and 1996 seasons. 2023 General Tire 150 (Phoenix)
The 2023 General Tire 150 was the second stock car race of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, the first race of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series West season, and the 4th iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, March 10, 2023, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a 1-mile (1.6 km) permanent tri-oval shaped asphalt speedway. The race was increased from 150 laps to 160 laps, due to a NASCAR overtime finish. In a wreck-filled race, Tyler Reif, driving for Lowden Jackson Motorsports, scored the upset win after passing Landen Lewis for the lead on the final lap. This was Reif's first career ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series West win in only his third start. William Sawalich, who started on the pole, dominated the majority of the race, leading 93 laps before getting spun with two laps to go. The 2021 Allen Crowe 100 was the 15th stock car race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series season, and the 39th iteration of the event. The race was held on Sunday, August 22, in Springfield, Illinois at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Racetrack, a permanent clay oval-shaped track at the Illinois State Fair. The Holden Commodore (VF) is an executive car that was produced by Holden between June 2013 and October 2017.
