2021 Allen Crowe 100
The 2021 Allen Crowe 100 was the 15th stock car race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series season, and the 39th iteration of the event. The race was held on Sunday, August 22, in Springfield, Illinois at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Racetrack, a permanent clay oval-shaped track at the Illinois State Fair. The race took the scheduled 100 laps to complete. At race's end, Corey Heim of Venturini Motorsports would dominate the race to win his seventh career ARCA Menards Series win and the sixth of the season. To fill out the podium, Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing and Taylor Gray of David Gilliland Racing would finish second and third respectively. Corey D. Heim (born July 5, 2002) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 11 Toyota Tundra for TRICON Garage. He has previously competed ARCA Menards Series East and West Series. Racing career Early career Heim raced in Legends cars, winning the 2016 Young Lions division and the 2017 Thursday Thunder Pro division championship at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He later transitioned to running super late models, driving in events sanctioned by the CARS Tour, Southern Super Series, Pro All-Stars Series (PASS), and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Owen Smith (racing Driver)
Owen Smith (born March 6, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. Racing career Smith's interest in racing began when he was in sixth grade, during which his father brought him to Southside Speedway. He made his racing debut at the age of 13 at Shenandoah Speedway. In 2016, he started competing in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and finished in the top 500 in the national standings. He repeated the placement from 2017 to 2019. As a student at the University of Northwestern Ohio, Smith joined the Over the Wall Club which allowed him to connect with those within the racing industry. In 2019, he became a crewman for Fast Track Racing and worked on the pit crew for driver Tommy Vigh Jr. In July, he began driving for the team beginning at Toledo Speedway, where he exited after completing five laps with electrical issues. Michael Goudie (born August 13, 1959) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 38 Ford for Ryan Goudie. In 1994, Goudie made his debut in the ARCA Hooters SuperCar Series at Pocono Raceway, driving the No. 38 Chevrolet for Lee Scott, where he started twelfth and finished on the lead lap in sixteenth place.
