Curtis Jobling
Curtis Jobling (born 14 February 1972) is a British illustrator, animator and author, born in Blackpool, England but lives in Warrington. He was the original production designer of the stop-motion puppet version of children's TV hit ''Bob the Builder'', where he visualised all of that programme's characters, props and sets. Jobling is also an author and illustrator of children's books, including '' Frankenstein's Cat'', a tale about a muddled-up feline. The book was adapted into an animated series, the first of which was aired on CBBC and BBC1 in the UK. Frankenstein's Cat, voiced by British comedian Joe Pasquale, has also aired in France, Australia and South America. Curtis's pre-school show, ''Raa Raa the Noisy Lion'', about a noisy lion cub and his Jingly Jangly Jungle friends was produced by Chapman Entertainment and McKinnon and Saunders, and first aired on the BBC's CBeebies channel in Spring 2011. Blackpool is a seaside resort in Lancashire, England. Located on the northwest coast of England, it is the main settlement within the borough also called Blackpool. Bob The Builder
''Bob the Builder'' is a British animated children's television series created by Keith Chapman for HIT Entertainment and Hot Animation. The series follows the adventures of Bob, a building contractor, specialising in masonry, along with his colleague Wendy, various neighbours, and friends, and equipment, and their gang of anthropomorphised work-vehicles, Scoop, Muck, Dizzy, Roley, Lofty and many others. The show is broadcast in many countries but originated from the United Kingdom where Bob was voiced by English actor Neil Morrissey. Frankenstein's Cat
''Frankenstein's Cat'' (), created by Curtis Jobling, is a children's picture book that follows the exploits of Doctor Frankenstein's first experiment. The cat is created by the Doctor out of nine different cats, leading to his name being Nine. He has no friends and feels lonely, which leads up to him asking the Doctor to create him a friend. Nine learns to be "careful what you wish for", as the Doctor creates a companion that is more than Nine can handle. The picture book was republished by Hodder. Characters The main characters are Nine, Lottie, Dr Franken, Fifi, Heidi, Igora, Pipsquawk, Trevor, Sweeny, Bigtop, Mr Crumble and Gutner Van Halen. Warrington () is a town and unparished area in the borough of the same name in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Mersey. Warrington Wolves
The Warrington Wolves are a professional rugby league club based in Warrington, England, that competes in the Super League. They play rugby at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, having moved there from Wilderspool in 2004. Alice Schertle
Alice Schertle (born 1941) is an American poet, teacher, and author from Los Angeles. She is known as the author of numerous children's books, most notably the ''New York Times'' best-selling ''Little Blue Truck'' series. Career Schertle worked for a time as an elementary school teacher. As a children's book author, her works "explore themes of nature and language, often with playful use of rhyme."
