Copley High School
Copley High School is a public high school in Copley Township, just west of Akron, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the CopleyâFairlawn City School District and competes athletically in the American Division of the Suburban League. The school's colors are blue and gold. The fight song is Ohio State's "Across the Field". The school's main rival is Revere High School, with whom they play against annually for the a trophy called "The Bell" during the 5th game of their football season. Akron () is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Ohio and is the county seat of Summit County, Ohio, Summit County. Josh Williams (born April 18, 1988) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew as a defender. Youth and college Born in Akron, Ohio, Williams was a three-sport athlete at Copley High School, lettering in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He was a co-captain and three-year varsity soccer player for the Indians, finishing his career tied for the school record with 124 career points. Frank LaRose (born April 18, 1979) is an American politician. He has served as Secretary of State of Ohio since 2019, after serving two terms as a Republican member of the Ohio State Senate from Ohio's 27th Senate district which includes Wayne County as well as portions of Stark and Summit counties. Jeff Golub (April 15, 1955 â January 1, 2015) was an American jazz guitarist who had a solo career and who led the band Avenue Blue. He worked as a sideman for a number of rock and pop musicians. He was arguably best known for his work with Rod Stewart 1988-95. Career Golub was born in Copley Township, Ohio, near Akron. He grew up listening to pop music, rock, blues, funk, and R&B. Delone M. Carter (born June 22, 1987) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Syracuse and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
