The Cignal HD Spikers are a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippines. The club is owned by Cignal, Cignal TV, Inc., a subsidiary of MediaQuest Holdings, MediaQuest Holdings, Inc., a Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, PLDT company. Rachel Anne Daquis
Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis (born December 13, 1987) is a Filipino volleyball player. She graduated from the Far Eastern University where she took up Business Management. She was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is a former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws in her collegiate years, where she was given the title "Queen Tamaraw". She played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) with the Cignal HD Spikers and is the PSL's brand ambassador for 2018 to 2019. In 2020, her team Cignal HD Spikers transfers to Premier Volleyball League. Career Daquis entered the volleyball scene when she was still in high school in Juan Sumulong Memorial Junior College in Rizal. She joined the FEU Lady Tamaraws and achieved her first championship during the 2008 UAAP Volleyball championships. Jovelyn Gonzaga
Jovelyn Gonzaga is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was a member and team captain of Central Philippine University volleyball team. She is currently a member of the Army Black Mamba Energy Lady Troopers in the Premier Volleyball League, in which she plays as an opposite hitter. She is also a member of the Philippine volleyball National Team. Career Gonzaga became Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference Most Valuable Player in 2013. She would later describe the award as a "pleasant surprise". She played as guest player for FEU Lady Tamaraws in 2014. 2018 PSL Grand Prix Conference
The 2018 Chooks-To-Go PSL Grand Prix Conference was the first conference and first indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The games commenced February 17, 2018 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig and the formal opening ceremony was held on February 24, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Multipurpose Complex in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The tournament was moved from October to February in order to align with the new competition calendar approved by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). 2018 PSL Invitational Cup
The 2018 Chooks-to-Go PSL Invitational Cup was the third conference and second indoor volleyball tournament of the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The tournament commenced on June 23, 2018 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. As with the 2017 Invitational, the tournament used an all-to-play format to give playing time for every player in each team. 2021 PVL Open Conference
The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''37th conference of the former Shakey's V-League'') and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season. In January 2021, it was reported that Motolite filed a leave of absence from the league and released all of its players. The Philippine Army Lady Troopers will participate as a guest team. 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference
The 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the eleventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''38th conference of the former Shakey's V-League'') and its second conference as a professional league. The conference was held from March 16 to April 8, 2022, pending restrictions brought by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A pool play format will be adapted for the first time wherein teams will be divided into two pools as opposed to a round-robin format where all teams play against each other at least once. Preliminary round was held at the Paco Arena in Manila. Quarterfinal round and Semifinals Game 1 & 3 was held at the San Juan Arena in San Juan. 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference
The 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference was the twelfth conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''39th conference of the former Shakey's V-League'') and its third conference as a professional league. The tournament began on July 9, 2022. Originally slated for the July 2, the tournament was pushed back due to the requests of the club teams. This is the first (''second for the former SVL'') conference of the league to commence an invitational conference. A total of eight teams will compete in this event, including one international team — KingWhale Taipei from Taiwan. The BaliPure Purest Water Defenders and F2 Logistics begged off from joining the conference.
