Church Of Jesus Christ Restored 1830
The Church of Jesus Christ Restored 1830 is a small sect in the Latter Day Saint movement that is headquartered in Buckner, Missouri. The church broke away from the Restoration Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the year 2000 under the leadership of five members of the First Quorum of Restoration Seventies. The church believes that there are three presidential quorums the decisions of which have equal authority when quorum decisions are unanimous. The Church of Jesus Christ Restored 1830 claims to be the rightful successor to the Church of Christ established by Joseph Smith on April 6, 1830. It teaches that anyone can receive revelations for that area of stewardship that they are responsible for. It believes that the President of the High Priesthood is chosen by the body of the church and is given the gifts and talents that belong to that office and calling. Atchison County, Missouri
Atchison County is the northwesternmost county in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the county had a population of 5,305. Its county seat is Rock Port. It was originally known as Allen County when it was detached from Holt County in 1843. The county was officially organized on February 14, 1845, and named for U.S. Senator David Rice Atchison from Missouri. Herald House
Herald House or Herald Publishing House is the publishing division of Community of Christ in Independence, Missouri. It publishes books, periodicals and other materials at the direction of the First Presidency. Its history dates to the publication of a church periodical called the '' True Latter Day Saints' Herald'' in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1860. The first church-owned press was located in Plano, Illinois and a much larger facility was opened in Lamoni, Iowa in 1881. The publishing plant in Lamoni was destroyed by fire in 1907. A replacement facility was built shortly thereafter. When the church headquarters moved to Independence, Missouri in 1921, the Herald House was relocated to a facility that had previously been used by an artillery battalion of the Missouri National Guard. The Restoration Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a denomination of the Latter Day Saint movement headquartered in Independence, Missouri. The church was formally organized on April 6, 1991, by members of the Community of Christ who had grown disaffected with the church when it began ordaining women and introduced other innovations in the late-20th century. The early history of the church was heavily influenced by M. Norman Page, a Seventy in the Community of Christ who claimed to receive two revelations calling for a reorganization of the church.
