China's Got Talent
''China's Got Talent ''() was a Chinese reality television series on Dragon TV and a part of the ''Got Talent'' franchise, hosted by Cheng Lei. It is a talent show that features all different kinds of performances of all ages competing for performing contract with FremantleMedia and Sony Music Entertainment. The show is a joint production between FremantleMedia, Shanghai Media Group, Radio and TV Shanghai and Syco. On January 17, 2011, DragonTV announced that series 2 of the show has been launched. DragonTV also announced that there will be two series of the show in 2011. Selection process Pre-auditions process Before the auditions in front of the judges are held, there are separate untelevised producers' auditions which come to various provinces across China, some which will host the auditions held in malls, outside and inside small stages. The first series of ''China's Got Talent'', also known as ''Head & Shoulders China's Got Talent'' for sponsor reasons, premiered on DragonTV on July 25, 2010. The premiere ratings drew 400 million viewers. ''Dongfang Daily'' reported that with an 8 percent audience share in Shanghai while in 26 other provinces got a 1.37 percent share. The second episode increased 100 million viewers from the premiere which makes it 500 million viewers who watched. This makes ''China's Got Talent'' the most viewers in the ''Got Talent'' franchise history. Auditions The auditions for the first series of ''China's Got Talent'' were pre-selected by the producers of the show from preliminary auditions. The auditions were held in Shanghai Concert Hall from July 25 to September 5. In China's version of Got Talent franchise, judges pressing 'X' does not always mean that they do not like the contestant's performance. Zhong Chenle (; born 22 November 2001), better known mononymously as Chenle (Hangul: 천러), is a Chinese singer and actor based in South Korea. Zhong began his career as a child singer, having performed in various concerts and television shows in China and abroad. Shanghai Concert Hall
Cadillac·Shanghai Concert Hall is located on the intersection of Yan'an Road and South Tibet Road of Huangpu District, Shanghai. It was founded in 1930 as Nanking Theatre. In 1949, its name was changed to Beijing Cinema. In 1959, it was renamed Shanghai Concert Hall. The hall can accommodate 1,122 seats, 640 on the ground floor and 482 on the second floor.
