Chik (social Group)
The Chik are a Muslim community, found in the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in India. They are also known as Bakar Qasab, Buz Qassab and Chikwa. They claim descent from Qureshi Arabs, who are said to have arrived in India in the early Middle Ages.Most of them are converted from Hindu Chikwa Tribe.The Chik are a sub-group within the larger Qassab community of South Asia. Sunni
Sunni Islam () is the largest branch of Islam, followed by 85–90% of the world's Muslims. Its name comes from the word '' Sunnah'', referring to the tradition of Muhammad.
