''Charm City Kings'' is a 2020 American drama film directed by Angel Manuel Soto from a screenplay by Sherman Payne and a story by Chris Boyd, Kirk Sullivan, and Barry Jenkins. It is based on the 2013 documentary '' 12 O'Clock Boys'' by Lotfy Nathan. It stars Jahi Di'Allo Winston, Meek Mill, Will Catlett, and Teyonah Parris. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 27, 2020. It was released on October 8, 2020, by HBO Max. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith serve as the executive producers. Angel Manuel Soto (born January 28, 1983) is a Puerto Rican film director, producer, and screenwriter. Early life Angel Manuel Soto was born in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Santurce, a neighborhood in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His parents were a car salesman and a flight attendant. During his youth, Soto was involved in soccer and boxing, which inspired some of his later projects. As he grew up, he studied architecture and documentary filmmaking and writing. Soto began his career as a TV producer and later worked on Art Direction at a local advertising agency. Career Before working on his first short film, Soto worked at Standard Style Boutique in Kansas City. Weighted Arithmetic Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations.
