Claudia Webbe
Claudia Naomi Webbe (born 8 March 1965) is a British politician who is currently the Member of Parliament (MP) for Leicester East. Elected to Parliament for Labour in the 2019 general election, she currently sits as an independent. Born in Leicester, Webbe was a councillor in the London Borough of Islington from 2010 until her resignation in March 2021, having served as its cabinet member for environment and transport. She was a member of the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party from 2016 until her election to Parliament. Webbe is the first female MP for Leicester East. She was suspended from the party whip in September 2020 after being charged with harassment of a woman who was having an affair with her then-partner. Luke Morgan Evans (born 10 January 1983) is a British Conservative Party politician serving as the member of Parliament (MP) for Bosworth in Leicestershire since 2019. He is also a general practitioner (GP). Early life and medical career Evans was born and brought up in Dorset; his father is a GP, and his mother was a nurse and then a school nurse. Andrew James Bridgen (born 28 October 1964) is a British politician and businessman who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for North West Leicestershire since 2010. A member of the Conservative Party and prominent figure on its right wing, he is a long-term critic of the European Union (EU) and supported Brexit in the 2016 membership referendum.
