Curium Films is a Canadian independent film production company, based in St. Catharines, Ontario. The company was founded by Roberto Munoz when he returned to Canada in 2010 after being in New York City. History of Curium In 2010, filmmaker Roberto Munoz returned to Canada to help care for his ailing mother. He was asked to film a Dr. Paul L. Maier lecture series entitled "Christianity and the Competition". This DVD led to the birth of Curium Films. In 2012, Curium collaborated with CubeCity Entertainment to film Lazer Us in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This movie won "Best Film - Adventure Category" at the 2013 Manhattan Film Festival. Directed by Mann Munoz, the movie features Robbie Beniuk, Patrick J. Mitchell, Elijah Black, Robert Tanos, Tanya Lynne, Christopher Elliott, and Jim Yorfido. Roberto Muñoz (producer)
Roberto Munoz (August 22, 1951) is a Producer, Director, and Screenwriter. He founded and is president of the not-for-profit New York based CubeCity Entertainment, Inc. He is one of the writing team members that writes under the name R.M.M. Munoz. Early life Munoz was born in Unterensingen, Germany on August 22, 1951. His father was a member of the 1936 Spanish Olympic Boxing team. His mother's family was of German-Russian origin. He immigrated with his parents to St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada when he was eight. Concert Promoter Munoz began in the entertainment industry in the 1980s when he managed the alternative Gospel band, ''Level Heads'', featuring Juno award-winning musician, Jim Chevalier. Originally located in the Niagara Peninsula in Ontario, Canada, it was called P.M. Productions. It officially made a name change when the company moved to the New York City area in 2000. The Manhattan Film Festival (MFF) is an annual film festival. It was founded in 2006 by filmmakers Philip J. Nelson and Jose Ruiz Jr. MFF is currently operated by Mr. Nelson and Mr. Ruiz, along with a team of filmmakers, journalists, and exhibitors. It was founded as the Independent Features Film Festival.
