Cuban Cricket Commission
Cuban Cricket Commission is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Cuba. Its current headquarters is in Havana, Cuba. The commission was granted affiliate membership of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2002, but had its membership revoked in 2013 for failing to "demonstrate a suitable administrative structure to conduct its affairs" under ICC guidelines. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). The International Cricket Council (ICC) was founded at Lord's on 15 June 1909 as the Imperial Cricket Conference, with Australia, England, and South Africa as its founding members. The 2010 ICC Americas Championship Division Four was a cricket tournament held in Mexico City, Mexico, which took place between 14 June and 16 June 2010.
