Crosby Sisters
The Crosby Sisters are an Australian country music duo consisting of Jodie and Kelly Crosby. In 2001, the sisters won Vocal Group or Duo of the Year at the Country Music Awards of Australia. Music career Both Sisters moved to Tamworth, New South Wales in 1986. In 1991 and 1997, the sisters won Duo of the Year at the Victorian Country Music Awards. Also Winning the CMAA Achiever Awards 'Independent Entertainers of the Year' in 2000. In 1999, the sisters imprinted their hands into the Country Music Hands of Fame 1999. Jodie Crosby married journalist Jon Wolfe in March 2006. They have one son together, Ethan Crosby-Wolfe (born 10 March 1994), who is also a singer/songwriter, actor and performer. Tamworth is a city and administrative centre of the north-western region of New South Wales, Australia. Slim Dusty, AO MBE (born David Gordon Kirkpatrick; 13 June 1927 – 19 September 2003) was an Australian country music singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer. He was an Australian cultural icon and one of the country's most awarded stars, with a career spanning nearly seven decades and producing numerous recordings. He was known to record songs in the legacy of Australia, particularly of bush life and renowned Australian bush poets Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson that represented the lifestyle. Lee Kernaghan OAM (born 15 April 1964) is an Australian country music singer, songwriter and guitarist. John Williamson (singer)
John Robert Williamson (born 1 November 1945) is an Australian country music and folk music singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, television host and conservationist. Williamson usually writes and performs songs that relate to the history and culture of Australia, particularly the outback, in a similar vein to Slim Dusty and Buddy Williams before him. Charley Pride
Charley Frank Pride (March 18, 1934 – December 12, 2020) was an American singer, guitarist, and professional baseball player. His greatest musical success came in the early to mid-1970s, when he was the best-selling performer for RCA Records since Elvis Presley. During the peak years of his recording career (1966–1987), he had 52 top-10 hits on the '' Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart, 30 of which made it to number one.
