Evelyna Christina "Evelyn" Wever-Croes (born 5 December 1966) is an Aruban politician and current Prime Minister of Aruba, serving since November 2017. She is the first woman to hold this office. She is a member of the People's Electoral Movement (Aruba), People's Electoral Movement (MEP) and has been the leader of the party since 2011. Gilberto François "Betico" Croes (; 25 January 1938 – 26 November 1986) was an Aruban political activist who was a proponent for Aruba's separation from the Netherlands Antilles. This eventually occurred in 1986, but following a car accident on 31 December 1985 (the night of ''status aparte''), Croes lapsed into a coma and never became conscious to see his accomplishment. Pauldrick François Teodoric "Paul" Croes (born 7 November 1976) is a former Aruban politician who served as the Minister of Social Affairs, Youth and Labor in the Second Eman Cabinet from 2013 to 2017. Antonito Gordiano "Mito" Croes (10 May 1946 – 7 August 2016) was an Aruban politician of the Aruban People's Party. He served as Minister Plenipotentiary of Aruba from 1994 to 2001. Francisco Walfrido "Frido" Croes (3 December 1957 – 9 October 2020) was an Aruban politician and schoolteacher who held the office of Minister Plenipotentiary of Aruba from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, he served as a member of the Estates of Aruba from 1989 to 1994, and as its President from 2001 to 2004. He also served as Minister of Education from 2004 to 2005. Hildward Leonil Croes (September 7, 1962 – December 17, 2014) was an Aruban musician, composer, arranger and three-time Grammy Award nominee. He had one son, Angelo Kock, and two daughters, Hilyann Croes and Natusha Croes. He also had a grandchild named Kayden Kock. Croes was born on the Caribbean island of Aruba and began performing at a young age as a keyboardist with different bands. With Cryptus Confession he recorded an album of original compositions in 1979 which included the number one song "Love Dream".
