Cornerstone Community Church
Cornerstone Community Church (Abbreviation: CSCC) () is an independent, Charismatic church based in Singapore. It is committed to global missions and has affiliate congregations in Kenya, Uganda, Myanmar, Pakistan, Indonesia, Australia and the Philippines. Established in 1990, the church is led by founder and senior pastor Rev. Yang Tuck Yoong. History Cornerstone Community Church, previously known as Bedok Christian Centre, was established in 1990 under the umbrella of the Anglican Church in Singapore. On 1 January 1994, it was renamed Cornerstone Community Church to better reflect the growing diversity of the congregation. On 2 June 1995, CSCC became an independent Charismatic church to further facilitate the spiritual calling of the parishioners. A church, church building or church house is a building used for Christian worship services and other Christian religious activities. Rees Howells
Rees Howells (10 October 1879 – 13 February 1950) was the founder of The Bible College of Wales. Howells was born in Brynamman in Carmarthenshire, Wales. When he was 12 years old he left school and worked in a tin mill and coal mine. He later went to the USA for better financial benefits where he met a Jewish Christian named Maurice Reuben who was following the Messiah. Howells also read a book of Henry Drummond (evangelist), Professor Henry Drummond. Both influences caused him to become an Evangelical Christian. Later he returned to Wales. He was affected by the 1904-1905 Welsh Revival. He and his wife were later missionaries in Africa. He was led down the path of intercession for many years, before seeing Revival across Southern Africa from 1915-1920. Christians () are people who follow or adhere to Christianity, a monotheistic Abrahamic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender. Goh Chok Tong
Goh Chok Tong (; born 20 May 1941) is a Singaporean former politician who served as Prime Minister of Singapore between 1990 and 2004, and Secretary-General of the People's Action Party between 1992 and 2004. The cornerstone (or foundation stone or setting stone) is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation. All other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure. The Gospel
The gospel or good news is a theological concept in several religions. In the historical Roman imperial cult and today in Christianity, the gospel is a message about salvation by a divine figure, a savior, who has brought peace or other benefits to humankind. Great Commission
In Christianity, the Great Commission is the instruction of the resurrected Jesus Christ to his disciples to spread the gospel to all the nations of the world. The Great Commission is outlined in Matthew 28:16– 20, where on a mountain in Galilee Jesus calls on his followers to make disciples of and baptize all nations in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Great Commission is similar to the episodes of the commissioning of the Twelve Apostles found in the other Synoptic Gospels, though with significant differences.
