Conway is a census-designated place (CDP) and the primary village in the town of Conway in Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 3,576 at the 2020 census. It is the most populous community in the town of Conway, ahead of North Conway. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the Conway CDP has a total area of , of which are land and , or 5.06%, are water. The village lies in the southwestern part of the town of Conway, situated at the juncture of the Saco River, the Swift River, and Pequawket Brook. The CDP is bordered to the west by the town of Albany, to the south by the town of Madison, and to the north by North Conway. New Hampshire Route 16, Route 113, and Route 153 converge at the village center. Route 112, the Kancamagus Highway, has its eastern terminus in the western part of the village. New Hampshire Route 112 (abbreviated NH 112) is a east–west state highway in northern New Hampshire. The highway winds across the state, connecting Bath to Conway through the heart of the scenic and mountainous White Mountain National Forest. New Hampshire Route 153 is a secondary north–south highway in Strafford and Carroll counties in eastern New Hampshire. The southern terminus is in Farmington at New Hampshire Route 11. The northern terminus is in Conway village (town of Conway) at New Hampshire Route 16 and New Hampshire Route 113. Between the towns of Wakefield and Effingham, NH 153 crosses into Maine, running for within the town of Parsonsfield. New Hampshire Route 113 (abbreviated NH 113) is a east–west state highway in east-central New Hampshire. NH 113 begins in the Lakes Region at an intersection with U.S. Route 3 and New Hampshire Route 25 in Holderness, and stretches eastward across the central part of the state, ending at an intersection with U.S. Route 302 in Conway, just a few miles west of the Maine border.
