Connor Stevenson
Conor Stevenson (born 23 August 1992) is a Scottish football midfielder who plays for Petershill. He has previously played in the Scottish Football League First Division for Clyde. Career Stevenson captained the Clyde Under-17 team during the 2008–09 season, and after impressing for the Reserve team, he signed a professional contract with the club in February 2009. Stevenson scored against Celtic in the Glasgow Cup in April 2009, and was included in the first team squad for the following weekend's fixture against Queen of the South. He made his debut in that game, coming on as a 53rd-minute substitute in a heavy 7–1 defeat. In doing so, he became the youngest player ever to play a competitive game for Clyde, at the age of 16 years and 245 days, beating the previous record held by Michael Doherty. Bellshill
Bellshill (pronounced "Bells hill") is a town in North Lanarkshire in Scotland, southeast of Glasgow city centre and west of Edinburgh. Other nearby localities are Motherwell to the south, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Hamilton to the southwest, Viewpark to the west, Holytown to the east and Coatbridge to the north. Michael Doherty (born 20 August 1990 in Lanarkshire) is a Scottish association football, football Defender (football), defender currently without a club following his release from Clyde F.C., Clyde. He is a product of Clyde's youth system. Career Doherty signed a YTS contract with Clyde F.C., Clyde in July 2007, and was part of Clyde's Clyde F.C.#Youth team, Under 19 side. He made his senior debut on the Clyde F.C. season 2007-08, 14 August 2007, coming on as a substitute against Queen of the South F.C., Queen of the South in a 1-0 win in the Scottish League Cup. Doherty made Clyde history on this appearance, becoming the youngest person ever to play for Clyde in a competitive match, at the age of 16 years and 359 days. Scottish Football League Second Division
The Scottish Football League Second Division was the third tier of the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The Second Division was created in 1975, as part of a wider reconstruction of the Scottish Football League (SFL). Prior to 1975, the SFL had been split into two divisions (Division One and Division Two). The effect of the reconstruction was to split these two divisions into three, with the top flight named the Premier Division, second tier the First Division, and a new third tier was created known as the Second Division. A fourth tier, known as the Third Division, was created in 1994. In 1998, the Premier Division clubs broke away from the SFL to form the Scottish Premier League (SPL). The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its football league system until 2021. Steven Howarth
Steven Howarth (born 3 June 1992) is a Scottish former professional footballer who last played as a striker for Scottish Second Division side Albion Rovers. Career Clyde Howarth started his career at Clyde, but had to wait until the 2009–10 season before making his breakthrough to the first team. He made a total of 11 appearances for the ''Bully Wee'', scoring just one goal. He was mostly credited for his hard-working ability, and his good performances that season earned him, and team-mate Connor Stevenson, a trial at champions Rangers in October 2009.
