Steven Howarth
Steven Howarth (born 3 June 1992) is a Scottish former professional footballer who last played as a striker for Scottish Second Division side Albion Rovers. Career Clyde Howarth started his career at Clyde, but had to wait until the 2009–10 season before making his breakthrough to the first team. He made a total of 11 appearances for the ''Bully Wee'', scoring just one goal. He was mostly credited for his hard-working ability, and his good performances that season earned him, and team-mate Connor Stevenson, a trial at champions Rangers in October 2009. It was to be a poor season overall for Howarth, as Clyde were relegated to the Third Division, finishing bottom. Motherwell Howarth joined SPL club Motherwell in the closing hours of the transfer window on 31 August 2010. He is who plays for the under-19 side and reserve side at the ''Steelmen''. The Scottish Football League Third Division was the fourth tier of the Scottish football league system between 1994 and 2013. History The Scottish football league system had operated with three divisions in the Scottish Football League (SFL) from 1975. In 1994, as part of reconstruction to allow the admission of Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County to the league, the SFL was recalibrated to give four divisions of 10 teams. The fourth tier was named the Third Division. In 1998, the Premier Division (top flight) clubs broke away to form the Scottish Premier League (SPL). Todd Lumsden
Todd Lumsden (born 6 February 1978 in Consett) is an English football player and manager. Career Lumsden mostly played in the lower leagues of Scottish football, although he did play for Hamilton Academical at First Division level. He was appointed player/manager of Albion Rovers in May 2012, after Paul Martin resigned due to health reasons. Lumsden left Albion Rovers after the 2012–13 season, as the club were relegated from the Second Division. He was succeeded by his assistant James Ward. On 1 July 2014 Lumsden became assistant manager to Allan Moore at Arbroath He became interim manager after Moore left the club in April 2015 and was appointed manager on a two-year deal on 30 April 2015. Connor Stevenson
Conor Stevenson (born 23 August 1992) is a Scottish football midfielder who plays for Petershill. He has previously played in the Scottish Football League First Division for Clyde. Career Stevenson captained the Clyde Under-17 team during the 2008–09 season, and after impressing for the Reserve team, he signed a professional contract with the club in February 2009. Stevenson scored against Celtic in the Glasgow Cup in April 2009, and was included in the first team squad for the following weekend's fixture against Queen of the South. He made his debut in that game, coming on as a 53rd-minute substitute in a heavy 7–1 defeat. In doing so, he became the youngest player ever to play a competitive game for Clyde, at the age of 16 years and 245 days, beating the previous record held by Michael Doherty.
