Comedian Selvy
Matheus Correia (14 February 1974 – 25 July 2022), known professionally as Comedian Selvy, was an Indian comedian, actor, playwright, singer, director, and producer known for his work in Konkani cinema, Konkani films and ''tiatr'' productions. One of the greatest Konkani language, Konkani comedians of his generation, he was noted mainly for his comedy performances and was deemed as "Goa's most loved comedian". Career ''Tiatrs'' Correia always had an immense love of, and keen interest in, the Konkani stage. He began acting at the age of 8 in his elder brother, Saude's ''tiatrs'' and village folk plays. Institute Menezes Braganza is a cultural institution set up by the Portuguese in colonial times, during the late 19th century. It was taken over by the Government of Goa and continues to play a role in cultural activities of Goa. In recent years, its takeover by the government was fought over in the Bombay High Court. Posthumous publication refers to material that is published after the author's death. This can be because the author died before the work was completed or while trying to find a publisher. Goans ( kok, गोंयकार, Romi Konkani: , pt, Goeses) is the demonym used to describe the people native to Goa, India, who form an ethno-linguistic group resulting from the assimilation of Indo-Aryan, Dravidian, Indo-Portuguese, and Austro-Asiatic ethnic and/or linguistic ancestries. Curtorim is a town in the Salcette taluka of South Goa district in Goa, India.It comes under Margao metropolitan region.
