Colerain High School (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Colerain High School is a public high school located near Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Northwest Local School District. The high school is located in Colerain Township, about 14 miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati. The original school opened in 1924 under the name Colerain Centralized School at 4700 and 4850 Poole Road and is now Colerain Elementary School and Colerain Middle School. Today's Colerain High School opened in 1964 at its newer address, 8801 Cheviot Road. It is the largest public school in the Colerain area in terms of enrollment and building size, with over 2,200 students currently attending CHS in two buildings on campus, the main school building and the Career Center building. Kerry Coombs
Kerry Coombs (born September 9, 1961) is an American football coach who is the interim head coach at Cincinnati. Previously, Coombs was an assistant coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL) in 2018 and 2019 and the defensive coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2020-2021. Coaching career High school (1983–2006) Coombs was a member of the University of Dayton's 1980 Division III National Championship team while studying secondary education. After graduation, he became an assistant coach at two Cincinnati area high schools. In 1989, he accepted the position of head coach at Loveland High School in Loveland, Ohio. Two years later, he accepted the position of head coach at Colerain High School in Cincinnati, the high school from which he graduated in 1979. Mary Lee Tracy is an American gymnastics coach and owner of Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy, an elite program in Fairfield, Ohio. Personal life Tracy was born in Cincinnati, and has lived in Ohio all her life. Tracy attended Colerain High School and was a 1977 graduate. After graduating high school, Tracy joined the Cincinnati Ben-Gals cheerleading squad for NFL team Cincinnati Bengals. Tegray Rene Scales (born May 10, 1996) is an American football outside linebacker for the Orlando Guardians of the XFL. He played college football at Indiana. Roger McDowell
Roger Alan McDowell (born December 21, 1960) is an American former professional baseball right-handed relief pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1985 to 1996. He played for the New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League and the Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles of the American League. Eric Kattus (born March 4, 1963) is a former professional American football tight end who played primarily for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). Eugene Clifford (born January 29, 1988) is a former American football safety. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2011.
