Kerry Coombs
Kerry Coombs (born September 9, 1961) is an American football coach who is the interim head coach at Cincinnati. Previously, Coombs was an assistant coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL) in 2018 and 2019 and the defensive coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2020-2021. Coaching career High school (1983–2006) Coombs was a member of the University of Dayton's 1980 Division III National Championship team while studying secondary education. After graduation, he became an assistant coach at two Cincinnati area high schools. In 1989, he accepted the position of head coach at Loveland High School in Loveland, Ohio. Two years later, he accepted the position of head coach at Colerain High School in Cincinnati, the high school from which he graduated in 1979. Luke Joseph Fickell (born August 18, 1973) is an American football coach and former player. He will be the head coach for the Wisconsin Badgers starting in December 2022. Previously he was the head football coach at the University of Cincinnati, a position he has held from 2016 season to November 2022. Fickell played college football as a nose guard at Ohio State University from 1993 to 1996 and then was an assistant coach for the Buckeyes. He was interim head coach at Ohio State for the entire 2011 season. Matt Barnes (born May 27, 1986) is an American football coach who is currently the defensive coordinator for the Memphis Tigers. Greg Mattison (born November 15, 1949) is a former American football coach, and former player. He spent most of his career in college football as a defensive coach. Mattison coached at Michigan for eleven years, at Notre Dame for seven years, at Florida for three years, including the 2006 national championship team, Ohio State, where he served two years.
