Coke Studio Bangla
Coke Studio Bangla ( bn, কোক স্টুডিও বাংলা) is a television series which is the Bangladeshi installment of the Coke Studio franchise which features studio-recorded music performances by established and emerging Bangladeshi artists. Coke Studio Bangla pays ode to the richness of the Bangladeshi music while paving the way for diverse artists to contribute to a richer musical tradition in Bangladesh. It aims to bridge the global sound to native treasures to showcase how tradition and modernity beautifully share a common ground. The series' first season was launched on 7 February 2022, taking inspiration from the success of the Coke Studio franchises in Pakistan and India. Shironamhin ( bn, শিরোনামহীন ''Śirōnāmahīn'' English: ''Untitled'') is a Bengali rock band formed in Dhaka in 1996. Following as a rock group emerging from Dhaka's underground music in the late 1990s, they were distinguished for their extended psychedelic and progressive compositions, multi-instrumental experimentation, and philosophical lyrics and became one of the leading band of the Bengali progressive rock genre. In 2008, the band became a member of the Bangladesh Musical Bands Association (BAMBA). Shironamhin were founded by students Ziaur Rahman (guitar), Jewel (guitar) and Bulbul Hasan (vocals). ''Nescafé Basement'' is a Pakistani music television series which features studio-recorded performances by underground and emerging artists. The show is produced by Nescafé. The artists are recruited and mentored by Xulfi, who is also the music producer of the show. The first song released from Nescafé Basement was a cover of Sajjad Ali's "Larri Adda". Season 1 In September 2012, the brand went around college campuses looking for young, exceptionally talented, but unknown musicians who could sing and play a variety of instruments. The 15 best musicians were then mentored by Xulfi from the band Call.
