Thomas Hübner (born 9 April 1980), better known by his stage name Clueso (), is a German singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer. His first album, ''Text und Ton'', was released in 2001. Since then, he has released seven more albums, of which the last three—''Stadtrandlichter'' (2014), ''Neuanfang'' (2016) and ''Handgepäck I'' (2018)—reached number 1 of the German Top 100. His music is notable for being a mix of hip hop, pop and electronic music, and sometimes reggae. Herbert Schwamborn is a Zimbabwean born film and music producer, also known by his artist name of Metaphysics. He is most famous for being a member of the multi-platinum selling German band Söhne Mannheims (''Sons of Mannheim''). He is also the founder of Gandanga Music Zimbabwe, a record label based in Zimbabwe and Germany. Early life He was born in 1973 in the Mbare suburb of Salisbury, Rhodesia to a German father and Zimbabwean mother. Blumentopf
Blumentopf ("Flower pot") were a German hip hop band from Freising, near Munich. In the early days of the band, the members met irregularly and did not have ambitions to become professional musicians. Each week a new name was chosen. The band was invited to perform at a festival for their first live show. The name at the time was Blumentopf and once it appeared on promotional posters for the festival, it stuck. They released their first album in 1997 on Four Music. They have released five more albums as a group, along with songs released on compilations, and various side projects. Until their dissolution in 2016, they were signed to record label EMI. Udo Lindenberg
Udo Lindenberg (born 17 May 1946) is a German singer, drummer, and composer. Career Lindenberg started his musical career as a drummer. In 1969, he founded his first band Free Orbit, and also appeared as a studio and guest musician (with Michael Naura, Knut Kiesewetter). In 1970, he collaborated as a drummer with jazz saxophonist Klaus Doldinger in Munich. In 1971 Passport, a band founded by Doldinger, released its first album, with Lindenberg on drums. He also played drums for the theme music for the German TV series ''Tatort''. The first LP by the jazz rock group Emergency was released in 1971, but met with little commercial success. The LP ''Lindenberg'' (also 1971, sung in English, with Steffi Stephan on bass) was likewise unsuccessful. Erfurt () is the capital and largest city in the Central German state of Thuringia. Bundesvision Song Contest 2005
The Bundesvision Song Contest 2005 was the first edition of the annual Bundesvision Song Contest musical event. The contest was held on 12 February 2005 at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The contest was hosted by Stefan Raab, Annette Frier, and Oliver Pocher in the green room. It was the first Germany-wide music competition in this format. The winner of the Bundesvision Song Contest 2005 was alternative pop band Juli with the song " Geile Zeit", representing Hessen. In second place were Fettes Brot representing Schleswig-Holstein, and third place to Sido with representing Berlin. 14 of the 16 states awarded themselves the maximum of 12 points, with North Rhine-Westphalia, and Rhineland-Palatinate, awarding themselves 10 points each. Stefan Konrad Raab (born 20 October 1966) is a German television producer, businessman, musician, and former entertainer and television host. From 1999 to 2015, he hosted the late-night comedy talk show ''TV total'' and has also created a number of other television shows, such as ''Schlag den Raab'' and ''Bundesvision Song Contest''.
