Club Sportivo Peñarol is a sports association primarily dedicated to football founded on 24 November 1918 and based in the town of Chimbas, near the city of San Juan, Argentina. The club has a rich history in the Liga Sanjuanina de fútbol. After playing the 2019 Torneo Regional Federal Amateur he was promoted to the Torneo Federal A for the first time in its history. He is currently in the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. History The club was founded on 24 November 1918 in the Plaza de la Concepción, located in the capital of San Juan. The club took its name from Peñarol of Uruguay and took the colors of Chacarita Juniors of Buenos Aires, the colors red, white, and black. But in the first order of t-shirts, from Buenos Aires they sent the clothing with the colors red, white and blue (instead of black) by mistake. Torneo Regional Federal Amateur
The Torneo Regional Federal Amateur (in English "Regional Federal Amateur Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised fourth level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera C Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2018 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Federal B. Federal Amateur is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal B have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera C, which have direct membership. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires (playing in regional leagues) and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area. The 2019–20 Copa Argentina (officially the Copa Argentina AXION energy 2019–20 for sponsorship reasons) was the eleventh edition of the Copa Argentina, and the ninth since the relaunch of the tournament in 2011. The competition began on 15 January 2020 and ended on 8 December 2021. On 17 March 2020, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced the suspension of the tournament to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. Club Cipolletti is an Argentine sports club, located in the homonymous district of Río Negro Province. The football team currently plays in Torneo Federal A, the regionalised third division of Argentine football league system. 2019–20 Torneo Federal A
The 2019–20 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the seventh season of the Torneo Federal A, the regionalised third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champions are promoted to Primera B Nacional. 30 teams competed in the league, 25 returning from the 2018–19 season, one team that was relegated from Primera B Nacional and four teams promoted from the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur.
