Cloverdale is a suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, east of Perth's CBD in the City of Belmont. History The name was from "Cloverdale Park", and "Cloverdale Estate", a subdivision in the area advertised for sale in 1910. It was officially recognised as a suburb name in 1954. Demography In the , Cloverdale had a population of 6,457. Cloverdale residents had a median age of 37, a year above the state average, and median individual incomes were below-average for the Perth metropolitan area — $414 per week compared with $513 per week. Oats Street Railway Station
Oats Street railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network in Perth, Western Australia. It is located on the Armadale and Thornlie line, 8.2 kilometres from Perth station serving the suburbs of Carlisle, East Victoria Park and Kewdale. History Oats Street station opened in November 1954. The station serves as the only station for Armadale Line passengers to transfer to the Thornlie Line and thus intermediate stations between Claisebrook and Cannington. In 2020, the station's bus interchange was upgraded due to the bus facilities at the time being at capacity. The interchange was extended north, adding two new bus stands, bringing the total to four. High Wycombe Station is a bus and railway station in High Wycombe, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It opened on 9 October 2022. It is the terminus of the Airport Line, which is on the Transperth suburban rail network, a bus station with eight active bus bays, and provides parking for up to 1200 vehicles as well as bicycles. Redcliffe Railway Station
Redcliffe railway station (officially Redcliffe Station) is a station for underground commuter rail services in Redcliffe, east of Perth, Western Australia. The station is one of three stations that were built as part of the Forrestfield–Airport Link project and is served by Transperth's Airport line services. The contract for the Forrestfield–Airport Link, which consists of of twin bored tunnels and three new stations, was awarded to Salini Impregilo and NRW Pty Ltd in April 2016. Construction on Redcliffe station began. Forward works, which included the permanent closure of Brearley Avenue between Great Eastern Highway and Dunreath Drive, began in 2016. CircleRoute
The CircleRoute is a pair of circular bus routes operated by Transperth through Perth's suburbs. History The CircleRoute was introduced in two stages. On 16 February 1998 the first stage of the CircleRoute commenced operating between Fremantle and Oats Street stations via Murdoch station. It was operated by Swan Transit with Mercedes-Benz O305 buses in a special livery with purple bands blended into the green blocks of the standard colour scheme, with an elliptical shaped logo featuring two arrows in white. On 22 February 1999, the route was extended to become a 133 stop, 84 kilometre circular route. All four Perth contractors; Path Transit, Perth Bus, Southern Coast Transit and Swan Transit, operated services. Path Transit is an Australian bus company operating Transperth services under contract to the Public Transport Authority. It is a subsidiary of Keolis Downer. History On 29 September 1996, Path Transit commenced operating services in the Marmion and Wanneroo areas from depots in Joondalup and Karrinyup with 191 Mercedes-Benz and Renault buses. In January 1998, Path Transit gained further services in the Joondalup North area followed on 5 July 1998 by services in the Morley area. In 1998, a new depot was opened in Wangara. Great Eastern Highway is a road that links the Western Australian capital of Perth with the city of Kalgoorlie. A key route for road vehicles accessing the eastern Wheatbelt and the Goldfields, it is the western portion of the main road link between Perth and the eastern states of Australia. Belmont City College is a comprehensive independent public co-educational high school, located in Belmont, east of Perth, Western Australia. Opening in 1957, the school's catchment area covers most of the City of Belmont and the eastern part of the Town of Victoria Park.
