Kidnapping Of Jayme Closs
On October 15, 2018, 21-year-old Jake Thomas Patterson abducted 13-year-old Jayme Lynn Closs from her family's home in Barron, Wisconsin. The attack took place at 12:53 a.m. after he forced his way inside and fatally shot her parents. Patterson took Closs to a house away in rural Gordon, Wisconsin, and held her in captivity for 88 days until she escaped on January 10, 2019. Police took Patterson into custody; shortly after, he told them he kidnapped Closs and murdered her parents. He pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping. On May 24, 2019, Patterson was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole, plus an additional consecutive 40 years. Keith Mitchell Closs Jr. (born April 3, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player. He played at the center position. Kevin Closs
Kevin Closs (born 1963) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, and author ("OMAGEE") Closs was raised on Manitoulin Island, and currently lives in the Onaping Falls neighbourhood of Greater Sudbury, Sudbury. An independent recording artist since 1989, he works both as a solo performer and with his rock band The Nobs. Closs is best known for his song "Erica", a Canadian Top 40 hit in 1994 as well as his guitar arrangement of "O Canada" played as the daystarter on CBC Northern Ontario Radio. He has also toured as a supporting musician in Charlie Major's band. He won Northern Lights Festival Boréal's Jackie Washington Award in 2002 and the Mayor's Celebration of the Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts in 2016. Maurice Fabián 'Mauri' Closs (born 10 June 1971) is an Argentine politician, formerly of the Radical Civic Union (UCR) but now leading the Front for the Renewal of Concord, allied to the Front for Victory in support of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. He is a National Senator representing Misiones Province, which he led as governor from 2007 to 2015. Born in Aristóbulo del Valle, Misiones, Closs graduated as a lawyer from the National University of the Northeast, and studied at postgraduate level at the National University of Misiones.
