Claus Mogensen (born 18 January 1973) is a Danish handball coach and former handball player, who trains SønderjyskE Håndbold as assistant coach since February 2023 and has won two silver medals with the Norwegian team Byåsen HE. SønderjyskE is a Denmark, Danish sport club. They have two team handball, handball teams (one male based in Sønderborg, one female based in Aabenraa), two Football (soccer), football teams (one professional male club and one professional female club, both based in Haderslev) and an SønderjyskE Ishockey, ice hockey team based in Vojens. All the teams play in Southern Jutland. The name is short for Sønderjysk Elitesport (English language: ''Southern Jutlandic Elite Sport''). Horsens Håndboldkub Elite is a Danish handball club. In the 2018/19 season its first female team plays in the Danish 1st division after its relegation in 2010. The team plays at home in Forum Horsens. The club was established in 1985 when Horsens forenede Håndboldklubber (HfH) and Dagnæs IF chose to merge. And HfH itself is a merge of Horsens Freja and Horsens forenede Sportsklubber (HfS). Horsens HK therefore can lead its roots back to 1920 when they began playing handball in HfS. SK Aarhus was a Danish women's handball club based in Aarhus. They played in Damehåndboldligaen when the team closed after the 2016-17 season because of financial issues. Aarhus United took over their licence for the league. SK Aarhus has previously also included basketball and volleyball. History SK Aarhus had consistently been at the bottom of Damehåndboldligaen and were relegated to 1. division after the 2004-05 season. They were, however, promoted again after just one season. Later, the club strengthened their roster with the likes of Karin Mortensen and Trine Troelsen and this resulted in a playoff place and fourth place after three matches against FCK Håndbold in the 2008-09 season. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. Byåsen Håndball Elite is the women's handball team of the Norwegian multi-sports club Byåsen IL based in Trondheim. The team plays in Eliteserien, the top division in the country, since its promotion in 1982. The team's first success came as a third division club, when in 1980 it won the silver medal in the national cup.
