Cincinnati Steam
The Cincinnati Steam is a collegiate summer baseball club that competes in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, which is one of twelve leagues formed under the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball. The Steam club was founded in 2006 and plays their home games at the P&G Cincinnati Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Steam Baseball Club has a close association with the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund and The Reds Urban Youth Academy. The GLSCL was established by Major League Baseball in order to develop college baseball prospects and is one of many summer collegiate baseball circuits throughout the country that has produced numerous major league players over the years. Although the play is highly competitive, all GLSCL players are NCAA eligible and are unpaid in order to maintain their amateur eligibility. Adam Eaton (outfielder)
Adam Cory Eaton (born December 6, 1988) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, Washington Nationals, and Los Angeles Angels. Eaton played college baseball for Miami University before the Diamondbacks selected him in the 19th round of the 2010 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2012 with the Diamondbacks, and played with them through the 2013 season, when they traded him to the White Sox. Charles James Leesman (born March 10, 1987) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago White Sox. He made his major league debut on August 9, 2013. Before his professional career, Leesman attended Xavier University, where he played college baseball for the Xavier Musketeers. Minors Leesman was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 40th round of the 2005 MLB Draft, but did not sign, opting to attend Xavier University, where he played for the Xavier Musketeers baseball team. Nathan Andrew Jones (born January 28, 1986) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
