Chucklehead
Chucklehead is an American funk band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 1988, the band reached the height of their popularity in the mid-1990s through constant touring and their lavish theme-based live shows. Chucklehead disbanded in 1997 following the release of their final album ''Belly Up''. After a 17-year hiatus the band reunited in 2013 for several performances. History Formation and move to Boston (1988–89) Chucklehead was formed in 1988 at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Founding members include Eben Levy (guitar, vocals), Erik Atkisson (drums, vocals), Brian Gottesman (keyboards, vocals) and Burke Mamlin (bass, vocals). While at Wesleyan, the group recorded a 4-song demo, produced and engineered by Huck Bennert, a fellow Wesleyan student who would go on to produce most of the band's future recordings. ''Sleep with Me'' is a 1994 American comedy-drama film directed by Rory Kelly and starring Meg Tilly, Eric Stoltz and Craig Sheffer, who play good friends that become involved in a love triangle, a relationship complicated by the marriage of Tilly's and Stoltz's characters. It also features Parker Posey, Joey Lauren Adams, and a cameo by Quentin Tarantino, in which he expounds on the homoerotic subtext of '' Top Gun'' to Todd Field. Six different writers wrote a scene each about the arc and development of the relation between the protagonists, including Kelly. The Middle East is an entertainment complex consisting of five adjacent dining and live music venues in the Central Square neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts. ''Like We Care'' is an MTV news program in the early 1990s, debuting in Spring 1992, that was geared towards high school students. Through research using focus groups MTV found that a narrator reading the news turned the youngsters off, so the programme was voiced by people of a similar age to the target audience.
