Christopher Pullin
Christopher James Lonsdale Pullin is a former judge of the Supreme Court of Western Australia from 10 September 2001. He served in the Court’s general division until 2005 when he was appointed as an appeal judge to the newly created Western Australian Court of Appeal. In 2009, Justice Pullin was appointed to serve also as the President of the Western Australian Industrial Appeal Court. He retired from the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the Industrial Appeal Court in 2014. Early life and career Justice Pullin was born in 1947 in England. His family migrated to Australia in 1948. Supreme Court Of Western Australia
The Supreme Court of Western Australia is the highest state court in the Australian State of Western Australia. It has unlimited jurisdiction within the state in civil matters (although it usually only hears matters involving sums of A$750,000 or more), and hears the most serious criminal matters. Structure The Supreme Court consists of a General Division (equivalent to the Trial Division in other states) and the Court of Appeal. Governor Stirling Senior High School
Governor Stirling Senior High School (abbreviated as GSSHS) is a public co-educational partially selective high day school, located in Woodbridge, a north-eastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The school provides both a vocational and tertiary entrance education for students from Year 7 to Year 12. Opened in 1959, the school replaced the former Midland Junction High School (MJHS) founded in 1901, at a new site in West Midland. History The school was officially opened on 28 October 1959 by then Western Australian Minister for Education, Arthur Watts. On that day its name was officially changed from Midland Junction High School to Governor Stirling Senior High School, named after James Stirling.
