Christian Nørgaard
Christian Thers Nørgaard (born 10 March 1994) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for club Brentford and the Denmark national team. Between abortive spells with Hamburger SV and Fiorentina, Nørgaard came to prominence in his homeland with Brøndby. He transferred to Brentford in 2019 and in 2021 was part of the squad which won promotion to the top-flight of English football for the second time in the club's history. Nørgaard was part of the Denmark squads at Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. Hamburger SV II
Hamburger SV II are the reserve team of German association football club Hamburger SV. Until 2005 the team played as Hamburger SV Amateure. The team has qualified for the first round of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, on five occasions. They currently play in the tier four Regionalliga Nord, in the fourth tier of the German football league system. History The team first played in the highest football league in Hamburg when it won promotion to the tier two Amateurliga Hamburg in 1955. The team was relegated from the league again in 1959 but returned in 1961. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. Alexander Zorniger (born 8 October 1967) is a German football manager of Greuther Fürth and retired player who played as a midfielder. Coaching career Early career Zorniger started his coaching career with stints as head coach of Normannia Gmünd, assistant coach at VfB Stuttgart, and as head coach at Sonnenhof Großaspach. RB Leipzig Zorniger became head coach of RB Leipzig on 3 July 2012. He managed the club to an undefeated season in all competitions. The 2011–12 Danish Superliga season was the 22nd season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. The season began on with OB, the previous season's runners-up playing the cup winners FC Nordsjælland. It concluded on with six simultaneous matches. F.C.
