HB Køge
HB Køge () is a professional Danish football club based primarily in the town of Herfølge, and secondly in the town of Køge, both in the Køge Municipality, part of 'Region of Zealand', in the eastern part of Zealand, south of Copenhagen. It was created through the merger of Herfølge Boldklub and Køge Boldklub in 2009. History The Danish 1st Division club Herfølge Boldklub and bankrupt club Køge Boldklub decided in March 2009 to merge. The club played their first season as a merged club in the 2009–10 season of the Danish Superliga. The season ended in relegation. In the following 1st Division season, they finished second and returned to the Superliga. Following the promotion manager Aurelijus Skarbalius left the club for a job as assistant manager of Brøndby IF and was replaced by Tommy Møller Nielsen. Herfølge Boldklub is a Danish football club founded in 1921. It is based in Herfølge, a southern suburb of Køge in the eastern part of Zealand. In 2009, the club shared its licence, and merged its professional football with Køge BK to form HB Køge. History On 27 February 2007, the club agreed, at an extraordinary general meeting, a professional football merger with Køge Boldklub, to form HB Køge. The merger was halted by the Danish Football Association in March 2007, due to a missed deadline. Because Køge Boldklub got into financial problems in April 2007, the merger was abandoned. Eventually, in 2009, the club merged its first team with Køge BK and formed HB Køge, but kept their youth selections separate. Tommy Møller Nielsen
Tommy Møller Nielsen (born 5 August 1961) is a Danish football coach and former player. He is the son of former Danish national football team coach Richard Møller Nielsen. He played for Odense Boldklub, Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and Boldklubben 1909. As coach, Nielsen has managed both Boldklubben 1909 and Viborg FF during his career. He joined Rangers on 27 May 1997 as first team coach to replace the departing Davie Dodds. He stayed there for three seasons before becoming Ebbe Skovdahl's number two at Aberdeen for just over a year. Nielsen returned to Denmark and to Boldklubben 1909 as coach in 2003 then took up the offer of being Ove Christensen's assistant at Viborg FF. Adam Ejler Hansen (born 13 January 2004) is a professional footballer who plays for Danish side Holbæk B&I. Born in Denmark, he represents the Greenland national team. Club career Ejler came up through the academy of Holbæk B&I. He had been with the club since at least 2015 while playing for the under-12 side. Mike Lindemann Jensen (; born 19 February 1988) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish 1st Division club HB Køge. He has also been capped by Denmark.
