Herfølge Boldklub
Herfølge Boldklub is a Danish football club founded in 1921. It is based in Herfølge, a southern suburb of Køge in the eastern part of Zealand. In 2009, the club shared its licence, and merged its professional football with Køge BK to form HB Køge. History On 27 February 2007, the club agreed, at an extraordinary general meeting, a professional football merger with Køge Boldklub, to form HB Køge. The merger was halted by the Danish Football Association in March 2007, due to a missed deadline. Because Køge Boldklub got into financial problems in April 2007, the merger was abandoned. Eventually, in 2009, the club merged its first team with Køge BK and formed HB Køge, but kept their youth selections separate. Herfølge Stadion
Herfølge is a suburb of the town of Køge, Denmark, located about 5 kilometers south of Køge, and is a part of Køge Municipality. The suburb is connected to Køge and Næstved by the Lille Syd railway line. Residential areas Holmebækhuse, is well known settlement in Herfølge, build in 1982 the townhouses/ terrace houses are located south east of Herfølge, and buildings are divided in three areas, in three colours red, green and most commonly blue. Svanemarken, Svanelunden and Svaneengen are known as the first residential area in all of Denmark, with the so called “ svanemærket” (translates to swanlabel?) which is a climate label that means the houses there guarantees low energy use, good indoor climate, and materials good for climate. 1999–2000 Danish Superliga
The 1999–2000 Danish Superliga season was the 10th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It took place from the first match on July 24, 1999, to final match on May 28, 2000. The Danish champions qualified for the third UEFA Champions League 2000-01 qualification round, the runner-up entered the Champions League in the second qualification round, while the third placed team qualified for the first qualification round of the UEFA Cup 2000-01. The fourth and fifth placed teams qualified for the UEFA Intertoto Cup 2000, while the two lowest placed teams of the tournament was directly relegated to the Danish 1st Division. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title. The Danish Football Union ( da, Dansk Boldspil-Union; DBU) is the governing body of football in Denmark. It is the organization of the Danish football clubs and runs the professional Danish football leagues and the men's and women's national teams. Zealand Series ( da, Sjællandsserien, SS, Herre Sjællandsserien) is the highest division for men organized by the regional association DBU Sjælland and one of the sixth-highest divisions overall in the Danish football league system. HB Køge () is a professional Danish football club based primarily in the town of Herfølge, and secondly in the town of Køge, both in the Køge Municipality, part of 'Region of Zealand', in the eastern part of Zealand, south of Copenhagen. It was created through the merger of Herfølge Boldklub and Køge Boldklub in 2009. History The Danish 1st Division club Herfølge Boldklub and bankrupt club Køge Boldklub decided in March 2009 to merge. The club played their first season as a merged club in the 2009–10 season of the Danish Superliga. The season ended in relegation. In the following 1st Division season, they finished second and returned to the Superliga.
