Christian Lerche
Christian Lerche (23 April 1917 – 9 June 2008) was a Norwegian physician and civil servant. He was born in Kristiania to Jacob Lerche Johansen and Wibecke Christiane Fredrikke Nicolaysen, and was a great-grandson of Jochum Johansen. He was married to Adèle Elisabeth Pihl Stranger from 1946, a daughter of Rolf Stranger. Lerche was director of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health from 1957 to 1984. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age the area was part of Viken. Rolf Stranger
Rolf Stranger (15 January 1891 – 18 June 1990) was a Norwegian businessman and politician for the Conservative Party who served as Mayor of Oslo. Biography Rolf Stranger was born in Kristiania. He was the son of Anund Hanssen (1847–1931) and Hilda Theodora Jørgensen (1849–1910). He attended St. Hans Haugen school graduating artium in 190. He studied at University of Oslo graduating cand.jur. in 1914. After graduation, he joined the family business Hanssen & Bergh A / S, where he was manager from 1917 to 1953. The company was a wholesaler and clothing manufacturer . During the Occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, he was imprisoned in Bredtveit concentration camp from November 1943 to May 1944. Jochum Johansen
Jochum Nicolai Müller Johansen (12 October 1823 – 28 January 1913) was a Norwegian civil servant and pioneer for the blind. Johansen was born in Fredriksvern to naval officer Paul Martin Johansen and Marie Sophie Hvoslef, and was a brother of Jacob Lerche Johansen. In 1852, he married Hanne Wilhelmine Cathrine Thrap, a sister of Daniel Thrap. He graduated as a jurist from the Royal Frederick University in Christiania in 1843. From 1853, he was appointed superintendent at the Rikshospitalet and ''Fødselsstiftelsen'' in Christiania. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. Einar Aaser (1886 – 28 August 1976) was a Norwegian physician and civil servant. He finished his secondary education in 1905, took his cand.med. degree in 1912 and the dr.med. Doctor Medicinae, also spelled Doctor Medicinæ and abbreviated Dr. Med., is a higher doctoral degree (a research doctorate) in medicine awarded by universities in Denmark and formerly in Norway. It is officially translated as Doctor of Medical S ... degree in 1920. He worked as a private physician at Bekkelagshøgda from 1919 to 1928.
