Chotoviny is a municipality and village in Tábor District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,900 inhabitants. Administrative parts Villages of Beranova Lhota, Broučkova Lhota, Červené Záhoří, Jeníčkova Lhota, Liderovice, Moraveč, Polánka, Řevnov, Rzavá, Sedlečko and Vrážná are administrative parts of Chotoviny. Geography Chotoviny is located about north of Tábor. It lies mostly in the Vlašim Uplands. There are several small ponds in the municipal territory. History The first written mention of Chotoviny is from 1266. Existence of a fortress in Chotoviny is documented in 1407. From 1856 to 1871, the railway from Prague to Vienna through Chotoviny was built. Transport The D3 motorway (part of the European route E55) runs through the municipality. Jeníčkova Lhota
Jeníčkova Lhota is a village and a part of the Chotoviny municipality in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Old historical names Pňová Lhota, Přímá Lhota, Pněví Lhota, Purkartova Lhota, Paldíkova Lhota History Jeníčkova Lhota was first mentioned in the year 1360, in connection with Přibík Lysec of Pňová Lhota and ancestor of yeoman's clan Štítný ze Štítného - Mikšík of Pňová Lhota. In the year 1621 Jeníčkova Lhota was burnt out by troops sieged near hussite town Tábor, and lately the village was recovered by Kašpar Hencl of Štenberk. Empire Style
The Empire style (, ''style Empire'') is an early-nineteenth-century design movement in architecture, furniture, other decorative arts, and the visual arts, representing the second phase of Neoclassicism. It flourished between 1800 and 1815 during the Consulate and the First French Empire periods, although its life span lasted until the late-1820s. Neoclassical architecture is an architectural style produced by the Neoclassical movement that began in the mid-18th century in Italy and France. It became one of the most prominent architectural styles in the Western world. The prevailing styles of architecture in most of Europe for the previous two centuries, Renaissance architecture and Baroque architecture, already represented partial revivals of the Classical architecture of ancient Rome and (much less) ancient Greek architecture, but the Neoclassical movement aimed to strip away the excesses of Late Baroque and return to a purer and more authentic classical style, adapted to modern purposes. European route E55 is an European Route, E-route. D3 Motorway (Czech Republic)
The D3 motorway ( cs, Dálnice D3) is a highway in the Czech Republic. Currently only the middle segment of the route is in operation; when complete, it will run from Prague via Tábor and České Budějovice to the Czech-Austrian border at Dolní Dvořiště. It is part of the European route E55. The D3 motorway in the South Bohemian Region towards the Austrian border should be completed by 2025. Completion of D3 in the Central Bohemian Region is planned by 2028, however its designed course through the Lower Sázava landscape is still objected and opposed by environmental and citizens associations. Course Once completed, the highway will connect the Czech capital Prague with the Austrian '' Mühlviertel Expressway'' (S10) to Linz. As of December 2019 only of the highway are in operation, a section from Mezno to Úsilné (near to České Budějovice), while a further from Úsilné to Kaplice are currently under construction.
