Cho Young-cheol (Hangul: 조영철; born 31 May 1989) is a South Korean football striker who currently plays for FC Tiamo Hirakata. International career Cho was a member of the South Korean team for the 2008 Summer Olympics in China. The following year, he represented South Korea U20 at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. On 11 August 2010, Cho made his first appearance for the Korean senior team in a 2–1 defeat of Nigeria. , commonly known as or also Japan FA Cup is a Japanese football competition. The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 17th edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which was hosted by Egypt from 24 September to 16 October 2009. The men's football tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held in Beijing and four other cities in the People's Republic of China from 7 to 23 August. Associations affiliated with FIFA were invited to enter their men's under-23 teams in regional qualifying competitions, from which 15 teams, plus the host nation, reached the final tournament. Men's teams were allowed to augment their squads with up to three players over the age of 23. For these Games, the men competed in a 16-team tournament. The 2010 Asian Games (), officially known as the XVI Asian Games () and also known as Guangzhou 2010 (), was a regional multi-sport event celebrated from November 12 to November 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, although several events commenced earlier on November 7, 2010.
