Chizuk Amuno Synagogue (Hebrew: ק"ק חזוק אמונה), is a historic building on the National Register of Historic Places in Baltimore, Maryland. It was once used by the Chizuk Amuno Congregation. Chizuk Amuno Congregation (Hebrew: ק"ק חזוק אמונה) is a large Jewish house of worship affiliated with Conservative Judaism. It is located in Pikesville, Maryland. The congregation's name comes from the Hebrew "Chizzuq 'Emunah", meaning "strengthening the faith". The word "Amuno" is a variant of the Ashkenazi Hebrew pronunciation of "'Emunah". Jonestown is a neighborhood in the southeastern district of Baltimore. Its boundaries are the north side of Pratt Street, the west side of Central Avenue, the east side of Fallsway, and the south side of Orleans Street. The neighborhood lies north of the Little Italy, south of the Old Town, west of the Washington Hill, and east of the Downtown Baltimore neighborhoods.
