Cherry Glazerr is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2013. The current lineup consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Clementine Creevy, bassist Sami Perez and drummer Tabor Allen. The band's sound has transitioned from lo-fi and garage rock on their debut release ''Haxel Princess'' in 2014 to a more polished rock sound, with elements of grunge, punk and new wave on their subsequent releases '' Apocalipstick'' and '' Stuffed & Ready''. History Formation and early years (2012–2016) Cherry Glazerr originated as Clembutt, a solo project for then-15-year-old vocalist and guitarist Clementine Creevy, who wrote, performed and uploaded a small catalog of songs onto SoundCloud in 2012. Sasami Ashworth (born June 23, 1990), known mononymously as Sasami, is an American musician who records music in a variety of styles, from singer-songwriter ballads to heavy metal and industrial. She began her career as a member of Cherry Glazerr but went solo in 2018. Her most recent album, '' Squeeze'', was released in 2022. Career Early life Sasami Ashworth comes from a Zainichi family. After shei graduated from the Eastman School of Music in 2012, she scored and made orchestral arrangements for films, commercials and studio albums, and worked as a music teacher in Los Angeles, where she is currently based. The Strokes are an American rock band from New York City. Danny Cole
Danny Cole is an American painter and interdisciplinary artist based in New York City. Early life Originally from New Jersey, Cole has been creating art since he was young. He filled journals with drawings before moving to painting. Cole moved to New York to pursue his career as an artist soon after graduating high school. Career Shortly before his high school graduation in 2018, Cole's debut solo show, "Danny Cole's Departure" was held in partnership with Stephan Alexander's Ghost Gallery in the Lower East Side in New York City. The Breeders
The Breeders are an American alternative rock band based in Dayton, Ohio, consisting of members Kim Deal (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), her twin sister Kelley Deal (lead guitar, vocals), Josephine Wiggs (bass guitar, vocals) and Jim Macpherson (drums). The earliest incarnation of the band was formed by Kim Deal and Tanya Donelly in 1989 as a side-project alongside their full-time bands Pixies and Throwing Muses respectively. The Pitchfork Music Festival is an annual summer music festival organized by ''Pitchfork Media'' and held in Union Park in Chicago, Illinois. Starting in 2011, the festival announced a branch staged in Paris at Grande halle de la Villette. The festival, which is normally held over three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in July, focuses primarily on artists and bands from the alternative rock, hip hop, electronic and dance music genres, although it has also ranged into hardcore punk, experimental rock and jazz in its lineups. While it started as a showcase for just the "cutting edge", it later took on a broader depth and vision, keeping the cutting-edge focus but also including important artists and acts that have influenced newer performers and artists. FYF Fest
FYF Fest (short for "Fuck Yeah Fest Fest") was an annual three-day music festival held at the Los Angeles Exposition Park in Los Angeles, California. It was founded by Sean Carlson in 2004 and is now solely produced by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Live. The event showcased many genres of music, including rock, pop, indie, electronic and hip hop as well as art installations and sculptures. The festival also had its own night market where people could buy food while watching the concerts. Throughout the whole park, four stages hosted live music. There was the Main Stage, the Lawn, the Arena, and the newest installment of the Woods. Although FYF's popularity is not as big as Coachella or EDC, the festival showcases popular and established music artists. Slowdive is a British rock band that formed in Reading, Berkshire, in 1989. Foster the People is an American indie pop band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2009. Its members are singer Mark Foster, guitarist Sean Cimino, and keyboardist Isom Innis.
