Cheng Yiu-tong
Cheng Yiu-tong GBM, JP (; born 14 October 1948 in Hong Kong) is a non-official member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong. He was appointed as the president of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions in April 2000. He is also the Hong Kong delegate to the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China. Provisional Legislative Council
The Provisional Legislative Council (PLC) was the interim legislature of Hong Kong that operated from 1997 to 1998. The legislature was founded in Guangzhou and sat in Shenzhen from 1996 (with offices in Hong Kong) until the handover in 1997 and moved to Hong Kong to serve as the temporary replacement of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It was established by the Preparatory Committee for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region by resolution at its Second Plenary Session on 24 March 1996. Lee Kai-ming, GBS, SBS, JP (11 October 1937 – 27 October 2022) was the member of the Legislative Council in 1991–95 and 1998–2000 for Labour, Provisional Legislative Council (1996–98). Tam Yiu-chung, GBM, JP (; born 15 December 1949) is a pro-Beijing politician in Hong Kong. He is a current member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC), former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (LegCo) and former chairman of the pro-Beijing Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB). Lam Shuk-yee (; born June 1953) is the former President of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (FTU), the most powerful trade union in Hong Kong. She is also current member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Biography Lam was born in 1953. She was aided by leftist union during his father's illness and she was young and joined the Hong Kong and Kowloon Federation of Trade Unions in 1968 as an electronic factory worker. She was the Vice-President of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (FTU) before in April 2012 when she succeeded Cheng Yiu-tong, the long-serving head of the unions, to become the first female President of the FTU. Lee Chark-tim, (, 23 December 1934 – 22 May 2007) was the president of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (HKFTU), the largest trade union and pro-Beijing organ in Hong Kong from 1988 to 2000. Lee joined the Hong Kong and Kowloon Shoe Trade Workers Union in 1954 and became a member of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions, the pro-Communist trade union in Hong Kong and was a member of the Committee of Hong Kong and Kowloon Compatriots from All Circles for Struggle Against British Hong Kong Persecution during the 1967 leftist riots against the British colonial rule.
