Charlotte, Michigan
Charlotte ( ) is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 9,074. It is the county seat of Eaton County. Charlotte is in the central portion of the county, on the boundary between Eaton Township and Carmel Township, though politically independent of both. Interstate 69 serves the city, and connects it to the state capital of Lansing. It is located 21.5 miles (34.6 kilometers) from downtown Lansing. History In 1832, George Barnes purchased the land that would become Charlotte from the U.S. Government. Barnes in turn sold the land to Edmond B. Brock Gutierrez
James Brock Gutierrez (born September 25, 1973) is a former American football center who played for nine seasons in the NFL. Early life and college career While attending Charlotte High School in Charlotte, Michigan, Gutierrez won All-State honors in football and wrestling. Attending Central Michigan University as a history major, Brock was a three-year starter at center for the Central Michigan Chippewas football team. As a junior, he led his team to the 1994 Mid-American Conference (MAC) title. He was on the All-MAC first-team as a senior in 1995. Professional career Gutierrez signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent following the 1996 NFL Draft. For the Fallen Dreams, often abbreviated FTFD, is an American metalcore band from Lansing, Michigan, formed in 2003. The band originally signed to Rise Records but produced one album under Artery Recordings in 2012. After the departure of then vocalist Dylan Richter and the return of vocalist Chad Ruhlig in 2013, the band started producing music under Rise Records once again until 2022. They have released three demos (their first being in the genre of deathcore), a self-titled extended play, and six full-length albums: ''Changes'' (2008), ''Relentless'' (2009), '' Back Burner'' (2011), '' Wasted Youth'' (2012), '' Heavy Hearts'' (2014) and ''Six'' (2018). New World Oriole
New World orioles are a group of birds in the genus ''Icterus'' of the blackbird family. Unrelated to Old World orioles of the family Oriolidae, they are strikingly similar in size, diet, behavior, and strongly contrasting plumage. As a result, the two have been given the same vernacular name. Males are typically black and vibrant yellow or orange with white markings, females and immature birds duller. They molt annually. The Capital Area Activities Conference (Or CAAC) is a high school sports league located in Central Michigan. It is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA). It is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).
