Chang Yung-hsiang
Chang Yung-hsiang (26 October 1929 – 8 October 2021) was a Taiwanese screenwriter and director originally from Yantai, China, generally considered one of the most prolific and successful screenwriters in Taiwan. Chang adapted a number of Chiung Yao novels for film. He had received six Golden Horse Awards over the course of his career. In 2016, Chang became the first screenwriter to receive the Golden Horse for lifetime achievement. Among Chang's other awards included the 1976 . He died in Los Angeles, California on 8 October 2021. Yantai
Yantai, Postal Map Romanization, formerly romanization of Chinese, known as Chefoo, is a coastal prefecture-level city on the Shandong Peninsula in northeastern Shandong province of People's Republic of China. Lying on the southern coast of the Bohai Strait, Yantai borders Qingdao on the southwest and Weihai on the east, with sea access to both the Bohai Sea (via the Laizhou Bay and the Bohai Strait) and the Yellow Sea (from both north and south sides of the Shandong Peninsula). ''Devil Returns'' (Original title ''Jing hun feng yu ye'') as is a 1982 Hong Kong horror film directed by Richard Chen Yao-Chi, and written by Gu Bi and Cheung Wing-Cheung. Plot Mei-hsun Fang hails a taxicab, and is brought to an abandoned building by the driver, a wanted robber and serial rapist. The man beats and sexually assaults Mei-hsun, and leaves her for dead. Mei-hsun survives, and is able to identify her assailant in a police lineup, resulting in his execution by firing squad, an event which Mei-hsun witnesses in a dream the moment it occurs. The rapist's death does little to comfort Mei-hsun, who is plagued by nightmares and visions of the man, and is horrified to learn that she is pregnant with what she assumes is his child.
